Rooted in gospel and classically trained at the prestigious Newark Boys Chorus School, Mikestro’s musical foundation is deeply spiritual, technically sound, and emotionally charged. As a key member of the international touring act The Jack Moves, he has performed across the globe, including sharing stages in Paris with Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, and touring alongside British band Yellow Days. His current work includes collaborations with rising stars Love Mansuy, Nbdy, Ro Beau and Benjamin Navy helping to usher in a new era of “millennial rhythm & blues”—reviving the soulful textures of the 2000s for a new generation of listeners.
